Eligibility

To be eligible for the Indian Army NCC Special Entry Scheme Recruitment 2024, candidates must meet the following criteria:

Nationality

• Citizen of India, or
• Subject of Nepal, or
• Person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Myanmar, Sri Lanka, and East African countries like Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.

Education Required

• For NCC ‘C’ Certificate Holders: Degree from a recognized university with at least 50% aggregate marks. Final year students can apply provided they have secured a minimum of 50% aggregate marks in the first two/three years of their degree course.
• For Wards of Battle Casualties: Degree from a recognized university with at least 50% aggregate marks. NCC ‘C’ certificate is not required.

Age Limit

• Candidates must be between 19 and 25 years old as of 1st January 2025 (born not earlier than 2nd January 2000 and not later than 1st January 2006).

Experience

• NCC cadets must have served for a minimum of two/three years in the Senior Division/Wing of NCC and obtained at least a ‘B’ grade in the ‘C’ certificate exam.

Stages of Selection
