Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
To be eligible for the CHO position, candidates must meet one of the following criteria in SHSB Recruitment 2024:
- B.Sc. Nursing with successful completion of a six-month integrated Certificate in Community Health (CCH) from an Indian Nursing Council/State Nursing Council recognized institute or university from the academic year 2020 onwards.
- Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing with the same certificate requirements.
- B.Sc. Nursing/Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing/General Nurse and Midwifery (GNM) candidates who have completed the Certificate Course in Community Health (CCH) through IGNOU or other State Public Health/Medical Universities as per the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare curriculum.
Age Limit (as of January 1, 2024)
- Minimum Age: 21 years
- Maximum Age:
- UR (Male) & EWS (Male): 42 years
- UR (Female) & EWS (Female): 45 years
- BC & EBC (Male & Female): 45 years
- SC & ST (Male & Female): 47 years
- Persons with Benchmark Disability: 10 years relaxation
- Departmental Candidates: Up to 5 years relaxation
Application Fees
The application fee structure for SHSB recruitment 2024 is as follows:
- General/EWS/BC/EBC (Male): ₹500
- SC/ST (Male/Female): ₹250
- Female (All Categories): ₹250
- PWD: ₹250

Salary
Selected candidates will receive a total salary of ₹40,000 per month, which includes:
- Fixed Pay: ₹32,000
- Performance-linked Payment: ₹8,000
