Eligibility
Education Required
- Candidates must have a graduation degree from a recognized university or institution approved by the Government of India or its regulatory bodies.
Age Range
- Minimum Age: 20 years
- Maximum Age: 28 years (as of July 1, 2024)
- Relaxation in upper age limit will be available as detailed below:
- SC/ST: 5 years
- OBC(NCL): 3 years
- PwBD(SC/ST): 15 years
- PwBD(OBC): 13 years
- PwBD(UR/EWS): 10 years
- Widows, divorced women and women legally separated from their husbands who have not remarried: Age concession upto the age of 35 years for UR/EWS, 38 years for OBC and 40 years for SC/ST
- Persons affected by 1984 riots: 5 years
Experience
- No prior experience is required for the apprenticeship position.

Selection Process
Stages of Selection
The selection process for the Apprentice positions includes the following stages:
- Online Written Test: Candidates will be shortlisted based on their performance in the online written test.
- Personal Interview: Shortlisted candidates from the written test will be invited for a personal interview.
Exam Pattern
The online written test will assess the candidates’ knowledge and skills relevant to the banking sector. The test will include questions on:

- Quantitative Aptitude
- Reasoning Ability
Salary
- Selected candidates will receive a monthly stipend of ₹15,000.
- Out of this, ₹10,500 will be paid by UCO Bank, and the remaining ₹4,500 will be credited directly to the apprentices’ bank accounts through the Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) mode, as per existing guidelines.
