Eligibility Criteria
- Educational Qualification: Candidates must have an MBBS degree or Provisional MBBS Pass Certificate recognized as per the provisions of the NMC Act, 2019, and the Post Graduate Medical Education Regulations, 2023. They must also possess permanent or provisional registration certificates of MBBS qualification issued by the NMC, the erstwhile Medical Council of India, or State Medical Council.
- Internship: Completion of a one-year internship by August 15, 2024, is mandatory.

NEET PG 2024 Exam Pattern
This year, NEET PG has introduced several significant changes to its exam pattern:
- Time-Bound Sections: The exam now features time-bound sections. The 200 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) are divided into specific sections, with a fixed amount of time allocated to each section.
- Sectional Timing: The total exam duration is 3 hours and 30 minutes, divided among different sections. Candidates must complete each section within the allotted time before moving to the next one.
- Sequential Section Completion: Candidates must start from the first section and proceed sequentially. They cannot skip sections or start from the middle. Each section must be completed within the given time before moving to the next.
- Review Restrictions: Candidates can review questions within the current section they are working on but cannot go back to previous sections once they have moved on.
- Marking Scheme: The marking scheme remains the same, with four marks awarded for each correct answer and one mark deducted for each incorrect answer. No marks are awarded or deducted for unanswered questions.
- Total Questions and Marks: The exam consists of 200 MCQs, totaling 800 marks.
- Language and Mode: The exam will be conducted in English and is a computer-based test (CBT).
