Eligibility Criteria
Nationality
The candidate must be a citizen of India.
Candidates who are subjects of Nepal, Bhutan, or Tibetan refugees who came to India before January 1, 1962, with the intention of permanently settling in India, are also eligible to apply.
Age Limit
The age limit for SSC CGL 2024 varies by post. The general age range is 18 to 32 years as of January 1, 2024.
Not exceeding 30 years: Assistant Audit Officer, Inspector of Income Tax, Divisional Accountant (Group B, Group B Gazetted, Group C).
Up to 30 years: Assistant Enforcement Officer, Sub Inspector (Group B).
Up to 32 years: Junior Statistical Officer (Group B).
Age Relaxation:
OBC: 3 years
SC/ST: 5 years
PwD: 10 years (additional 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC)
Ex-Servicemen: 3 years after deduction of the military service rendered from the actual age as on the closing date.
Educational Qualification
General Requirement: A bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university or institution.
Specific Requirements for Certain Posts:
Assistant Audit Officer/Assistant Accounts Officer: Bachelor’s degree in Commerce/Accountancy or a related field.
Junior Statistical Officer (JSO): Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with at least 60% marks in Mathematics at the 12th standard level or a bachelor’s degree in any discipline with Statistics as one of the subjects at the degree level.
Compiler: Bachelor’s degree from any recognized university with Economics or Statistics or Mathematics as a compulsory or elective subject.

Tier 1:
General Intelligence and Reasoning: Analogies, similarities and differences, space visualization, problem-solving, analysis, judgment, decision making, visual memory, discrimination, observation, relationship concepts, arithmetical reasoning, verbal and figure classification, arithmetical number series, non-verbal series, etc.
General Awareness: Current events, India and its neighboring countries, history, culture, geography, economic scene, general policy, scientific research, etc.
Quantitative Aptitude: Number systems, computation of whole numbers, decimals and fractions, relationship between numbers, fundamental arithmetical operations, percentages, ratio and proportion, averages, interest, profit and loss, discount, use of tables and graphs, mensuration, time and distance, ratio and time, time and work, etc.
English Comprehension: Understanding of the English language, vocabulary, grammar, sentence structure, synonyms, antonyms, and its correct usage, etc.
